I can’t believe I am just now discovering this gem. Food52 is an online food community… um hello mecca. Founders Amanda Hesser (a James Beard Award-winning author, editor and former New York Times food reporter) and Merrill Stubbs (trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London and later worked in the test kitchen at Cook’s Illustrated) have hit the nail on the head and created a food lovers paradise, all wrapped up in a gorgeously designed platform…
What in the world is a food community you ask? Well, it’s a host of recipes, how-to’s, products, and yes, even a food hotline, for all of those pressing kitchen questions. A few of my favorite links from the site are below.

And one last note, try not to buy everything in the FOOD52 store Provisions. The shop sources vendors across the US to provide everything from hand-dipped beech wood bowls and make your own mustard kits to sweet white bud vases.
