sprucing up breakfast

A five-minute breakfast to liven up your cereal routine!


1 cup frozen berries (I use Trader Joe’s mixed berries)

1 cup fresh spinach

1 tbsp chia seeds

3/4 almond milk (or soy milk, your preference)

1/2 banana

1 tbsp coconut flakes


Pulse berries, spinach, chia seeds, and almond milk in blender. Using frozen berries allows you eliminate the need for ice! Once the berries are decimated, pour your smoothie into a bowl. Slice banana for topping, then sprinkle coconut for a little texture and sweetness on top. Enjoy!
