The Nightingale // Kristin Hannah – Set in occupied France, Hannah illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen through the stories of two sisters each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival.

Provence, 1970 // Luke Barr – Food, France, and of course heated debate over the future of eating in America are explored in Barr’s work. With the Childs, James Beard, M. F. K. Fisher and  Simone Beck together in the South of France it is a food lovers dream.

All the Broken Things // Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer – A Vietnamese family now living in Toronto hides a secret in this novel about the peculiarities that divide us and bring us together, and the human capacity for love and acceptance.
