My daily routine now begins and ends with a steaming cup of lemon ginger water, thanks to my friend Lauren’s mom Lisa, whose habit I have adopted. People tout ginger as a remedy for a variety of different ailments, but I’m just game because dig the taste and it increases my water daily intake!
Peel a piece of ginger and with a micro grater (I use this one) grate 1 tsp. into a empty mug.
Then squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the glass, make sure to avoid the seeds!
Top the lemon juice and ginger with boiling water. Drink up! (Mug pictured is from Heath!)
